It seems to be blogday today!? A colleague heard this on the radio and spread the rumor. Nice illustration of how traditional media and ‘new media’ go hand-in-hand. Anyway, I checked it online and discovered indeed this site http://www.blogday.org/ pulling the attention of its visitors with the following three questions:
Are you a blogger? Are you ready to be part of something big? Do you want to leave a mark on the face of the earth?
Am I a blogger? Yes. Am I ready to be part of something big? Always! And of course I “want to leave a mark on the face of the earth”. In order to reach this megalomaniac objective, it would be sufficient to refer in a post to five blogs we like! Just because I like the poetic expression of “leaving a mark on the face of the earth”, I will sweep away my cynical tendencies and participate to this project.
So here we go:
http://www.conversationblog.com : Its author, Philippe Borremans, is besides being a nice guy, definitely one of the authorities in the Belgian PR 2.0-landscape.
http://web.2point0.be : The man behind the screens, Robin Wauters, is another post-modern communication professional with his hands on different other projects like MarketingBlog.eu and Digimedia. Robin became recently also editor for blognation.com (Belgium & Luxemburg)
http://www.bvlg.blogspot.com :Blog with a certain focus on corporate blogging. BVLG, of which I will not reveal the name, is certainly another reference in Belgian blogging highlife.
http://www.dutchcowboys.nl : This is a classic one. Great Dutch blog! For the few who don’t know it, just check it out; you’ll understand why you’re so few.
http://luxbox.blog.lu : Hardcore IT blog from Luxemburg. Really content-based, but qualitative high information and always coming up with the latest ICT news.
That’s it folks. I’m just on time to post: Blogday is on August 31st.
